Job summary

MAC Trailer is seeking driven individuals to contribute to the welding and fabrication of aluminum petroleum and dry bulk interstate transport trailers. Welding and fabrication experience is required, and applicants will be given a comprehension welding test at interview to determine starting wage.

Typical schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed. Benefits include 401(k) with company matching, health, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Welding and/or fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
• Comfort with welding tests to determine starting wage.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficient welding capabilities during weld test.
• Set and operate welding equipment.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with on the job training.
• Examine work pieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools.
• Follow all company safety rules and practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Successfully demonstrate proficient welding capabilities during weld test.
• Set and operate welding equipment.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with on the job training.
• Examine work pieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and work orders.
• Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools with on the job training.
• Follow all company safety rules and practices.

Quarterly performance reviews in the first year, with the possibility of a raise at each review. Annual performance reviews thereafter.

Typical work schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
