Job summary

Scott Equipment Company is seeking a Fabricator in Minnesota to perform fabricating operations on carbon steel and stainless steel, including MIG and TIG welding, drilling, grinding, and shearing. The role focuses on producing high-quality machines efficiently and safely.

You will review drawings, set up machines, handle hand tools, and coordinate with a Team Lead. The position includes overtime opportunities and a generous benefits package aimed at supporting employees and families.

• Clarify process with Team Lead and ensure materials are available, and understand specifications and deadlines.

• Knowledge of hand tools per project.
• Rigging, drilling, grinding and polishing, TIG welding, MIG welding.

Primary Objective of the Position:

The Fabricator performs fabricating operations on all products including: Mig, tig, shearing, drilling, grinding on carbon steel and stainless steel. The Fabricator is focused on producing high-quality machines in an efficient manner.

Major Areas Of Accountability

• On assigned job orders clarifies process with Team Lead, clarifies procedures, ensures materials are available and understands specifications and deadline
• Reviews drawings and machine set up prior to project initiation
• Knowledge of hand tools per project

Under Direction From Team Lead Will Perform

• Rigging
• Drilling
• Grinding and polishing
• Tig welding
• Mig welding
• Ensures a safe work environment by following safety requirements and policies
• Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned
• Overtime - Additional hours are available based on business needs and employee interest
