McGrath is seeking a Welder in Auburndale, FL to fabricate, repair, and inspect metal using welding techniques. You will interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine the correct process and ensure weld quality aligns with codes and project specs.

The work involves reading floor plans and work orders, performing material takeoffs, and applying precise math to meet exact dimensions while maintaining safety practices. You’ll also inspect welds and operate plasma and flame cutting torches.

Formación

• Welding experience and knowledge of codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and floor plans.
• Ability to perform material and labor takeoffs from blueprints.

Responsabilidades

• Join, fabricate and repair metal using proper welding techniques
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine welding process
• Inspect welds for structural soundness
• Inspect, repair, install, and maintain welding equipment
• Maintain organized inventory, tools, and work area
• Troubleshoot and repair at customer sites
• Operate plasma and flame cutting torches
• Perform other duties as assigned
