Job summary

DIS-TRAN Steel is seeking experienced PREP Welders to join our team on Days at our Washington Court House, OH facility. The role involves performing all welds required on structures, interpreting blueprints, and using tape measures and cranes to move materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform all welds required on our structures with speed and accuracy.

• Use measuring devices and cranes as needed to manipulate steel structures.
• Maintain safety and quality throughout the production flow.

DIS-TRAN Steel, located in Washington Court House, OH, is looking for experienced PREP Welders to join our team on Days.

PREP Welders must be capable of performing all welds needed on our structures and must understand instructions given in regard to the welds. This individual must be able to perform duties with speed and accuracy in order to produce a quality product and keep a steady flow through the facility. This position will frequently use calculating skills, by tape measure or other device. This position will use other moving machinery or equipment, including cranes, in order to manipulate steel structures.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ability to interpret blueprints required.

Ability to read a tape measure required.

Welding certification or prior welding experience preferred; GMAW experience preferred.

Must pass a site weld test.
