Job summary

DIS-TRAN Steel in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Welder to join our production team. You will perform all welds on steel structures, read and follow welding instructions, and help maintain a steady flow of quality products on the shop floor.

You will routinely use measuring tools and cranes to position components, work safely, and complete tasks with speed and accuracy to meet tight production schedules. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Kentucky, with the opportunity to grow your skills.

Qualifications

The Welder must be capable of performing all welds needed on our structures and must understand instructions given in regard to the welds. This individual must be able to perform duties with speed and accuracy in order to produce a quality product and keep a steady flow of products. This position will frequently use calculating skills, by tape measure or other device. This position will use other moving machinery or equipment, including cranes, in order to manipulate steel structures.
