Job Description: Welder at Henderson Products Inc.

Join Henderson Products Inc., located in Manchester, IA! We are the North American leader in designing, manufacturing, and upfitting multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks, specializing in snow and ice control, and "Keeping America’s Roads Safe!"

Shift: Day Shift - 5am to 3:00pm, with a 20-minute paid lunch. Flexible start times available if needed.

How You Will Contribute

As a Welder of truck-mounted equipment, you will be responsible for producing high-quality weldments using blueprints or documentation to meet production schedules and customer demands. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, adjusting, and regulating welding machines, welding with or without fixtures, using various tools for cutting, grinding, beveling, fitting metals, and removing slag. You will also perform maintenance, ensure weld quality, participate in training, maintain safety standards, and engage in daily 5S activities.

Requirements

• Ability to weld using GMAW MIG process
• Ability to read blueprints, basic shop math, and tape measure
• Ability to operate overhead hoist
• Minimum of 6 months experience and/or an associate degree or certification
• Adherence to health and safety rules and maintaining good housekeeping (5S)

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld/grinding fumes at times
