Shift: 4-day shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Pay: $23 per hour

Per Diem: $150 for candidates living 60+ miles from the jobsite

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Welding Apprentice to serve as a Stationary Fire Watch in Pittston, PA. This role involves monitoring for potential fire hazards while welders work overhead. It is a short-term, 4-day assignment requiring focus and attention to detail during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor welding activities to prevent fire outbreaks.
2. Maintain a safe work environment by staying alert for sparks, flames, or other hazards.
3. Report any safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• No prior welding experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
