Professional Piping Systems, LLC is seeking skilled welders for our mechanical fabrication shop in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves welding carbon steel and stainless steel components used in industrial construction, reading fabrication drawings and weld symbols, and preparing joints for welding to ensure quality results.

You will inspect welds for quality and conformance, maintain equipment and PPE, and work closely with fabricators and fitters to meet production schedules.

We are seeking skilled and dependable Welders to join our mechanical fabrication shop. This position involves welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel components used in industrial and mechanical construction projects. Perform welding on carbon steel and/or stainless steel components according to project specifications. Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and measurements as required. Prepare materials and joints for welding, including cleaning, fitting, and positioning components. Use appropriate welding processes and equipment to produce sound, consistent welds. Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Identify and correct weld defects as needed. Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean, organized work area. Follow shop safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work with fabricators, fitters, and other shop personnel to meet production schedules. Maintain consistent workmanship and productivity while meeting quality standards. Previous welding experience with carbon steel and/or stainless steel preferred. Ability to produce quality welds that meet applicable project requirements. Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols preferred. Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and material preparation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a fabrication shop. Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
