Professional Piping Systems, LLC is seeking skilled welders for our mechanical fabrication shop in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves welding carbon steel and stainless steel components used in industrial construction, reading fabrication drawings and weld symbols, and preparing joints for welding to ensure quality results.

You will inspect welds for quality and conformance, maintain equipment and PPE, and work closely with fabricators and fitters to meet production schedules.

Formación

• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel.
• Ability to prepare joints and fit components.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel components per project specs.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and measurements.
• Prepare materials and joints for welding, including cleaning, fitting, and positioning.
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and conformance; correct defects.
• Maintain equipment and clean work area; follow PPE and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with fabricators and shop personnel to meet schedules.
