Job summary

Northeast Engineering is seeking an experienced Welder/Boiler Maker to join our team in a hands-on workshop environment, focusing on heavy vehicle welding, fabrication and custom fit-out projects.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will repair and assist with constructing heavy vehicle truck bodies, with projects ranging from straightforward builds to complex jobs requiring welding skill and precision.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade required.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings required.
• Aluminium welding experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and assist with the construction of heavy vehicle truck bodies.
• Work on welding, fabrication and custom fit-out projects in a hands-on workshop environment.
