Job summary

Nidec Corporation in Lexington, TN is seeking a Welder B on the 2nd shift to join our production team. You will perform MIG and TIG welds on rotor cores and laminations, and braze copper parts while maintaining quality and safety.

Starting rates are $24.92 per hour with a sign-on bonus; the 2nd shift runs 3:30pm–10:30pm and includes a 5% shift premium. On-boarding benefits begin Day 1, with a 9% 401(k) contribution and paid holidays and vacations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welds on rotor cores, lamination rings, and brazing.
• Inspect welds and materials to ensure quality and reduce rework.
• Set up welders with correct speeds/feeds and product fixtures.
