Job summary

Johnson Controls in Waynesboro, VA is seeking a skilled welder to join our team building innovative, sustainable HVAC systems. You will perform welding on carbon, galvanized, and stainless steel, lay out and fit parts, and use plasma and oxygen cutting tools while maintaining strict tolerances.

• Regulate current, voltage, and select proper tips, rods, and sizes for each job.
• Assemble complex standard products, including tubing layout and pipe bending.
• Clean equipment using hand or power tools after welding.
