Caterpillar North Little Rock is hiring a Welder Apprentice for the 3rd shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.). The role begins with Day ONE benefits and a starting wage of $21.75/hour plus shift differential. You will learn MIG, TIG, and related welding processes, with a six‑week weld school and three weeks on‑the‑job training.

Qualified candidates must pass multiple weld tests and be able to work overtime. Overtime opportunities exist based on production needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Basic welding fundamentals required; able to work safely and wear PPE.
• Intro period includes Weld School 6 weeks and 3 weeks OJT with 7:00 AM–3:00 PM training.
• Must pass qualification tests after training (GMAW, GTAW, gouging) to advance.

Responsibilities

We have 15 robotic welding cells and over 30 different weld stations to complete daily builds. As a fabricator the main welding process is 0.052” GMAW (MIG) in the 1G/2G & 1F/2F positions.
