Job summary

Aerotek in Columbus, OH is seeking a Welder and Fabricator to join a contract-to-hire role in a specialized data farm department that supports AI welding software development. You will tack-weld steel coupons and use CNC equipment to produce parts that back robotic weld cells.

Entry into welding is welcomed as detailed training is provided; you will learn and apply new fabrication techniques while collaborating across bays to meet daily production goals in a clean, organized facility.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 6 months of welding experience, including tack-welding or similar processes.
• At least 6 months of experience assembling parts in a production or fabrication setting.
• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, blueprint reading, fitting, or CNC operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings accurately.
• Experience performing fabrication tasks such as layout and fitting of parts.
• Experience operating robotic welders in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Comfort working with CNC saws and CNC tooling stations or similar automated equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures and quality requirements.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a busy manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
