Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Torrance, CA, seeks a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals, interpret blueprints and welding symbols, and ensure weld quality and safety compliance to support production goals.

You will inspect welds, adhere to AWS/ASME codes, and operate welding equipment with precision. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and a strong commitment to quality in a high‑volume environment.

Job description

The annual base salary range for this position is <$67,000 - $83,500>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of Honeywell's manufacturing output by delivering high-standard welding work that supports production goals and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform advanced welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals and alloys.
• Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with safety and industry standards, making adjustments as necessary.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Extensive experience in advanced welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards such as AWS and ASME.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency with welding equipment and tools, including setup, operation, and maintenance.

WE VALUE

• Certification in Welding Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing welding environments.
• Experience with automated welding systems and robotic welding is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
