Job summary

Sun Mechanical Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder for our Tucson operation. Candidates should have 8–10 years of pipe welding experience and proven ability to pass a 6G SMAW qualification with 6010 root, 7018 hot pass and cap.

Qualifications include 6G certification and strong math and tape measure reading skills; pipe fitting is a plus. This role requires working on commercial fabrication projects in the Tucson area.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Sun Mechanical is currently seeking experienced Pipe Welders with years of commercial - fabrication construction experience and/or 6G certification.

Must be able to pass a “stick” SMAW/ASME 1X 6G Qualification test. With 6010 root pass, 7018 Hot pass and 7018 Cap.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must have at least 8-10 years of Pipe Welding experience
