Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment, and performing welding operations to fabricate metal components. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials are key to success in this role.

Available shift: Third Shift (7pm-5am)

Pay range: $22-26, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Reference blueprints to determine job requirements.
• Gather necessary materials and perform layout per specifications.
• Set up welding machine and adjust settings.
• Operate welding gun to weld steel, aluminum, copper, etc., pieces together.
• Visually examine welds for adherence to quality standards; reweld defective joints and remove surplus slag, flux, and spatter using appropriate tools.
• Operate cutting torch and manual plasma cutter as needed.
• Apply weld stencil and notify inspector when product is ready for inspection.
• Perform ongoing housekeeping duties to keep work area clear of scrap and debris.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in a range of welding processes through job-related training and experience.
• Complete a variety of atypical assignments within defined processes; assist in determining approaches for new tasks.
• Work with limited supervision.
• No formal education required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
