Job summary

Hendrickson in Kentucky is seeking a skilled welder to support the timely production of welded parts. The role requires MIG, hand and robotic welding and strict adherence to quality standards and blueprints.

You'll inspect finished work, perform basic measurements, report on work orders, and help maintain a clean, safe, non-temperature controlled facility while wearing required PPE.

Qualifications

  • Must pass welding certification test.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints.

Job description

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Prior welding experience, required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to pass welding certification test.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
  • Must follow all safety practices and policies.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances.
  • Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs.

Physical Demands

  • Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.
  • Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs.

Environmental Conditions

  • Non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
