Hendrickson is seeking a welder to assist in producing welded parts with MIG, hand, and robotic welders while meeting quality standards. You will inspect finished products using basic measurement tools and participate in safety training and maintenance tasks.
The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, prior welding experience, and the ability to pass a welding certification test, with physical capability to lift up to 65 lbs.
Assist in the timely production of all welded parts and ensure welds being completed are within acceptable quality standards.
Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed.
Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp. Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing. Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs.
Non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility. Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
