Steele Solutions Inc. is seeking a Welder in Waupaca, WI to weld components and assemble structural forms according to blueprints. You will operate welding equipment, prepare surfaces, check conformance with specifications, and maintain safety standards in a 2nd shift environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, material handling, and collaboration with the fabrication team to meet delivery goals. This position offers a 4-day work week with a 2nd shift premium.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent or demonstrated welding experience.
• 2+ years welding experience preferred with .045 wire.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes drawings, blueprints, specs to plan welding operations.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts for welding.
• Selects tooling and fixtures; follows weld symbols and sequences.
• Assembles metal parts or products per specs.
• Prepares surfaces for welding; maintains cleanliness and quality.
• Operates welding, soldering or brazing equipment; uses hoists/cranes as needed.
• Checks work with precision measuring tools for conformance.
• Completes paperwork per procedure and ensures timely delivery.
• Adheres to safety and sanitation regulations.
