Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 7+ years TIG/MIG welding experience, TIG preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform precise measurements.
• Capable of welding in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, and secure parts per specifications using measuring tools.
• Observe tests on welded surfaces (hydrostatic, x-ray, dimension tolerance).
• Develop templates or tooling to hold and align parts.
• Select equipment and welding methods per metallurgy and geometry.
• Inspect finished products against samples for conformance.
• Inspect grooves, angles, or gaps with measuring instruments.
• Weld metal using GTAW, GMAW, flux-cored, plasma arc, and related arcs.

We are looking for2ndshiftwelders to join our growing Roseville, MNlocation. If you have TIG/MIG experience and enjoy working with your hands, this could be a great position for you.

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
• Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance
• Develops templates or tooling and other work aids to hold and align parts.
• Determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
• Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met.
• Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using measuring instruments
• welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and other types of welding arcs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld (TIG welding preferred)
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
• Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements
