IEA Kenosha Plant in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Welder II with intermediate skills to perform welding and related tasks using gas and/or electric welding equipment.
You will read weld specs, set up jobs, inspect welds, and maintain a clean, safe shop while adhering to ISO and Six Sigma standards. Three+ years welding experience and apprenticeship preferred.

Salary Range: $25.42 Hourly
Job Summary: The Welder II is an intermediate-level, skilled position performing a variety of welding and related tasks (e.g., cutting) using gas and/or electric welding equipment. The Welder II receives specific work assignments under limited supervision and resolves problems with limited supervisory assistance. The Welder II’s work involves considerable skill and is subject to final inspection and test. Errors in welding are not always readily apparent and may result in excess labor and material costs. The Welder II is expected to practice and adhere to the Company’s Six Sigma principles.
Personal protective equipment requirement: Company-supplied, flame-resistant overclothing (after 90 days), safety mask and shield, safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear protection as QualificationsPosition Requirements:
Experiential: Three or more years of general welding experience.
Educational: Formal apprenticeship training is desirable but not essential.
Certificates, Licenses: Forklift operator certification is preferred.
Our second shift is from Monday through Thursday: 1:30pm to 12:00am
Overtime is worked Friday and Saturday
