Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is a leading innovator in world-class forklift and material handling equipment. This welding role sits in the Indiana facility, with training provided and full-time hours. Pay tops out at $35.57/hour with shift premiums on 2nd/3rd shifts.

You will weld to print specifications, inspect parts, and set up weld fixtures in a fast-paced environment. Minimum: High school diploma, ability to read instructions, and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions to ensure quality.
• Previous welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, use a tape measure, understand weld symbols, basic math, reason, and analyze.

• Use a Gas Metal Arc and Metal Core Arc welding process to weld parts to print specifications.
• Inspect parts per print specifications.

• Use a carbon arc air gouging and cutting process for rework.
• Use hand grinders to fit parts, rework defective welds, and grind welds flush as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Information

• Paid training provided
• 2nd shift: Hours for this position are 2:45pm to 10:55pm Monday through Friday
• 3rd shift: Hours for this position are 10:45 pm to 6:55 am Sunday through Thursday
