Job Title: Welder / Fabricator - 2nd Shift

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Direct Reports: Not Applicable

Position Summary:

The welder/fabricator is responsible for repairs and maintenance of containers and company-owned property to meet customer and regulatory specifications. This position is on the 2nd shift (3:00 - 11:30 PM).

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on containers and trucks.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricate steel components using a brake and shear.
• Cut steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
• Fabricate steel components for hoppers, containers, and compactors.
• Install lids and wheels on containers.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
