SPX FLOW, Inc. in Delavan, Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled welder to perform various welding tasks, including utilizing TIG and laser welding techniques according to blueprints. The role requires attention to detail, quality assurance, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least two years of relevant experience, and the capability to perform welding tasks in physically demanding positions. A sign-on bonus opportunity is included.
To perform a variety of welds such as butt welds, saddle welds, and repairing porosity in castings. Utilizing orbital TIG and/or laser welding equipment and a variety of fixtures. To produce an acceptable weld that meets the requirements as specified on the blueprint or work order procedure line and is readily polishable as required. Perform silver soldering, as required, on special products.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee frequently required to stand and use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific PPE is required within the cell.
