Responsibilities

• Join and fabricate: interpret blueprints to determine welding processes.
• Prepare and set up: align and weld parts per blueprints and specifications.
• Lift and position materials using cranes or forklifts.
• Ensure quality: inspect using measuring tools before/during/after production.
• Contribute to improvement: participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain and organize: track inventory, assist with maintenance and housekeeping.

We’re looking for skilled and detail-oriented individuals to join, fabricate, and repair metal into high-quality components for our community. Hours are Sunday night-Friday morning 9:30pm-6:00am with some OT required.

What You’ll Do

• Join and Fabricate: Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Prepare and Set Up: Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools
• Lift and Position Materials: Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
• Ensure Quality: Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
• Contribute to Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and Organize: Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
