CFS Brands in Wausau, WI is seeking a Welding Associate I to perform aluminum welding with TIG and MIG on light gauge material under the Production Supervisor.
You will read blueprints, lay out parts, weld per specifications, grind and polish, and operate welding equipment and basic hand tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and tech school welding coursework or prior welding experience is required; safety and teamwork are emphasized.
The Welding Associate, level I, performs aluminum welding processes with TIG, MIG on light gauge 12 through 20 stainless steel and aluminum. The Welding Associate welds all types of commonly used metals and alloys of various sizes, shapes, and thicknesses, including metals such as copper to steel. Able to operate miscellaneous hand-welding, torch-cutting, or welding equipment for welding or join metal components or to fill holes, dents, or seams in fabricated metal products. Able to configure, operate, and/or monitor robots that perform welding or heat treatment work on products, components, or metal assemblies.
