Bruno Independent Living Aids is seeking a welder/fabricator to lay out, fit, and weld custom stair-lift components. You will read prints, verify dimensions with tools, and grind to meet cosmetic standards, with final inspections for alignment and aesthetics.
The role requires passing Bruno's weld test, setting up welding machines, and performing MIG/TIG welding as needed in a modern production facility in Wisconsin. D1.1 certification applies to qualified welders.
Perform MIG welding and fabrication duties without the use of fixtures; layout, fit and position weldments sequentially to create a custom stair-lift. Work from prints, drawings and job layouts. Use measuring tools to verify alignment and dimensions. Grind to mechanical requirements with a smooth cosmetic finish. Work is subject to first and final piece inspections for alignment, dimensions and aesthetic requirements.
