Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a skilled welder to join our team in the United States. You will fabricate, repair metal and welding materials using appropriate techniques and operate various welding devices.

You will interpret blueprints, inspect welds for soundness, start up and shut down machines properly, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Interprets blueprints, specifications to determine welding process.
• Ensures quality and safety in welding operations.
• Maintains machine operation and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams to determine welding process.
• Inspect completed welds for structural soundness.
• Start up and shut down welding machines properly.
• Operate welding devices safely and efficiently to meet standards.
• Troubleshoot machine or rack-related issues and adjust components as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow CI/5S practices.
• Contribute to a team effort and assist in non-welding tasks as needed.

About The Opportunity

Join, fabricate and repair metal and other welding material by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
• Start up and shut down machines properly.
• Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack -related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
• The ability and flexibility to work in non-welding areas when the situation presents itself.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
• Contribute to a team effort.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned
