Job summary

Menasha Corporation, a leading packaging and supply chain solutions provider, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to repair and maintain diverse processing equipment. The role supports two divisions—Menasha Packaging and ORBIS—on a rotating night shift, ensuring safe, efficient operation and continuous improvement across facilities.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years in plastics or fabrication environments, with hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and blueprint

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience in plastics or fabrication environments.
  • Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting experience is preferred.
  • Electrical troubleshooting and blueprint reading skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain machinery and equipment per blueprints and manuals.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on processing and support equipment.
  • Document actions and irregularities in maintenance reports.
  • Work safely and follow CI, 5S and STW practices.
  • Be available for overtime and rotating night shifts.

About The Opportunity

Maintain and repair machinery and equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of new equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  2. Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment.

  3. Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.

  4. Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.

  5. Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.

  6. Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs through the use of EAM.

  7. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).

  8. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.

  9. Other duties as assigned

  12. Ability to complete LOTO, rigging and forklift training.

  13. Ability to complete and pass RJG fundamentals of systematic molding and RJG Machine Maintenance courses.

  14. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs that may pertain to maintenance of the equipment or building.
