Qualifications

Alliance Steel, Inc. is seeking a Welder to join our growing team. The Welder assists in the fabrication of steel frames and building components. Ability to MIG weld and fit are a plus.

Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:

1. Safely perform skilled welding in the fabrication of steel frames and building components
2. Maintain proper housekeeping of assigned work area
3. Must always have a high awareness for safety
4. Any other duties assigned
5. Must train on company policies and procedures
6. Must follow welding procedures

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

1. Familiar/fluent in MIG processes
2. Previous experience with plasma torches & oxy acetylene cutting a plus
3. Welding certifications beneficial but not required

Requirements:

1. Ability to lift 50lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time
2. Must wear proper safety equipment
3. Ability to read a tape measure
4. Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions)
5. Must meet ASTM F2413-18 standards
6. Must be full-leather (no fabric)
7. Must have a built-in Metatarsal Guard (MT)
