Position Title: Fabrication Welder
Wage:

$19.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift:

1st or 2nd

Job Description:

Are you a welder looking for your next challenge? We're seeking skilled individuals to join a great team and take on welding, weld preparation, and finishing operations to produce high-quality products to customer specifications. If you're proficient in welding techniques, have a keen eye for interpreting mechanical drawings, and are familiar with materials like steel, aluminum, and exotic alloys, we want you! Responsibilities:
  1. Proficient in assigned welding techniques.
  2. Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbolism.
  3. Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials.
  4. Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
  5. Use of conventional and precision measuring instruments.
  6. Process inspection, certification, and documentation.
  7. Complete daily paperwork and updates to the company ERP system.
  8. Maintenance of welding equipment.
  9. Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.
  10. Adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the area supervisor.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to read, talk, and hear regularly.
  2. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  3. Required to wear PPE such as steel-toed boots, hard hat, eye protection, and ear protection.
  4. Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives.
