Job summary

Aggressive Hydraulics is hiring a full-time Welder for the Cedar, MN location. Shift is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

You will weld parts to print using MIG and TIG and inspect finished components to ensure quality while following safety procedures. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of wire feed welding experience, a welding degree (2-year preferred), and the ability to obtain AHI certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years wire feed welding experience.
• Welding in a related industry preferred.
• Ability to pass AHI welding certification within 90 days.
• Ability to set up and run programs on welding equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts to print using MIG and TIG, manual/semi-automatic equipment.
• Inspect welded components for quality and conformance.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping as needed.

1st shift employees are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Primary Objectives:

• Welding products to print using manual, semi‐automatic, and automatic welding equipment using MIG and TIG

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for welding of parts
• Inspection of parts
• Following safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience of wire feed welding
• Welding experience in a related industry preferred
• Welding technology degree (2‐yr) preferred
• Ability to pass AHI welding certification within 90 days of hire for multiple processes
• Ability to setup and run various programs on welding equipment
• Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred
• Comfortable using various computer software
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Below identifies an anticipated hiring range, note that for candidates with substantial relevant experience and a proven track record of welding excellence in a manufacturing environment, additional wage flexibility may be available.

The pay range for this role is:

24 - 31 USD per hour (Aggressive Hydraulics - Cedar, MN )
