Job summary
Lake Air Products is hiring a 1st & 2nd shift welder for our Roseville, MN facility. If you have TIG experience and enjoy working with your hands, this is a great opportunity to join a growing contract manufacturer serving medical, aerospace & defense, and industrial markets.
Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, PPE, and reading blueprints.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld (TIG welding preferred).
- Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements.
- Excellent people skills and ability to work with a leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications.
- Observe tests on welded surfaces (hydrostatic, x-ray, dimension tolerance).
- Develops templates or tooling to hold and align parts.
- Determine required equipment and welding methods with knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques.
- Examine finished products and spare parts for spec compliance.
- Inspect grooves, angles, or gaps using measuring instruments.
- Weld metal using various welding arcs.

- Determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
- Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met.
- Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using measuring instruments
- welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and other types of welding arcs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld (TIG welding preferred)
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
