Job summary

Aventure Staffing is hiring a dependable Welder for our client in Milford, IA. You will weld, set up and perform all welding functions meeting cosmetic quality standards. Training on first shift will occur until second shift launches.

Shifts: 1st 6am-4pm M-Th; 2nd 3:30pm-1:30am M-Th with OT on Fridays if needed. Starting pay is $18/hour with weekly direct deposits and benefits including medical coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading blueprints and using inspection equipment.
• Basic mechanical/manufacturing understanding and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform welding per prints (spot welding, robotic welder, MIG welding).
• Finish product to meet workmanship standards (grinding and sanding).
• Enter work order data for labor reporting and use inspection tools.
• Maintain clean workstation and follow safety policies.

Welder 1st & 2nd shifts First shift hours 6am-4pm M-Th OT on Friday 2nd Shift: Monday- Thursday 3:30pm – 1:30am (OT would fall on Friday if needed): Will train on first shift hours 6am-4pm M-Th until 2nd shift is launched estimated to be in October We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Welder to join our team for our Client in Milford, IA. This is a hands‑on position where you’ll weld, set up and perform all functions of welding which are essential to our business that meet cosmetic quality standards

Responsibilities

• Setup and perform welding perprintsincluding (spot welding,robotic welderand MIG welding)
• Any required finishing of the product to meet workmanshipstandard(grinding and sanding)
• Enterworkorder data required for labor reporting into the computer system
• Use inspection equipment and review blueprints to ensure work is meeting or exceeding quality standards
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
• Work in a manner that emphasizes safety of self and others.
• Follows all health and safety policies and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma orGED
• Provenexperience readingblue printsand using inspection equipment/measuring devices
• Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques
• Previous experience with computer skills such as typing, printing and data entry. Ability to use math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
