Job summary

Carry-On Trailer is seeking a Welder 1 to fabricate metal structures and components using MIG and TIG welding techniques and to read blueprints and technical drawings. You will be responsible for producing high-quality welds that meet industry standards in a shop environment.

As a Welder 1, you will adjust equipment, inspect welds, and ensure tolerances while maintaining safety and organization on the work floor.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Manual dexterity.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various positions, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest welding techniques and technologies.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding problems.

Responsibilities
