Job summary

ENFRA is hiring a Welder to join our team in the United States. The role involves welding rebar of various sizes, fabricating rack brackets, and performing repairs to equipment and trailers. You will read blueprints, follow WPS, and work in safe, organized conditions to meet project needs.

Qualified candidates will have AWS D1.1 (4G/3G SMAW) certification, lifting ability up to 50 lbs, and experience with stainless and carbon steel. Travel up to 10% to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be AWS D1.1 qualified for Overhead (4G) and Vertical (3G) using SMAW.
• Must pass welding test.
• Experience with stainless and carbon steel.
• Experience with overhead cranes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read fractions, decimals, and degrees of a circle.
• Know structure members (beams, channel, angle, pipe, tubing).

Responsibilities

• Weld components per layout, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders.
• Set controls on welding machine per WPS.
• Weld in multiple positions as qualified.
• Read a tape measure and verify dimensions.
• Tack assemblies using approved WPS.
• Follow health and safety policies and stay safe.

Overview

The Welder will be welding of rebar of all sizes. Fabricate rack brackets, supports and junction boxes, miscellaneous repairs to equipment, trailers and job shacks and other company-owned items, equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Welds together components of products specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, and work order, welding procedures or oral instructions.
• Sets controls on welding machine in conformance with WPS.
• May weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions as qualified.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Tack assemblies together using approved WPS.
• Adheres to all company health, and safety policies.
• Work in a safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Must be qualified under AWS D1.1 code for Overhead (4G) and Vertical (3G) using SMAW
• Must pass welding test.
• Experience working with stainless and carbon steel.
• Experience working with overhead cranes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to understand fractions, decimals, and degrees of a circle.
• General knowledge of structural members (beams, channel, angle, pipe, and tubing)

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or 30 hour preferred

Travel Requirements

• 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical Activities

• Climbing stairs.
• Operating machinery and/or power tools.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Environmental Conditions

• Noisy environment.

Physical Demands

• Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range

USD $30.00 - USD $34.00 /Hr.
