EDUCATION: High school graduate
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of welding, welding technology, or welding fabrication experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education in a related field will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional welding, welding technology, welding fabrication, or a related field will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age.

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
