Job summary

Ascent Professional Services is seeking a skilled welder for direct hire in the Waukesha/Slinger, WI area. This role offers first and second shifts with a $3 per hour premium on 2nd shift, and requires good tenure.

You will safely weld to blueprints, interpret symbols, and apply Flux Core, Metal Core, GMAW, and Sub Arc processes. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work actively throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years welding experience, including large or structural weldments.
• Must know weld symbols and blueprint reading.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active all day.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform welding tasks with attention to detail and precision.

• Ensure the highest quality in every weld, verifying parts for accuracy.
• Set up welding equipment, adjusting wire speed and voltage.
• Collaborate with your team to solve challenges and meet project goals.

Our client is located in Waukesha and Slinger, WI. This is a direct hire position. The role offers 1st and 2nd shift openings with a $3 shift premium for 2nd shift. Must have good job tenure/work history.

Pay rate: $25- (based on experience).

Must Haves

• Fluxcore 3/32 or Solidwire 0.45 or 0.52.
• Must know weld symbols and basic blueprint reading.
• Candidates with large weldments and large fabrication experience are highly desired.
