Job summary

DeWys is currently seeking motivated Welders to join our team with the drive to expand their MIG, TIG, and robotic welding skills. This position offers a shift premium for 2nd and weekend shifts.

You will set up welding equipment, lay out and fit metal components, read blueprints, and perform finishing and maintenance tasks on welding and grinding machines. Overtime availability may be required to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding and reading blueprints.
• Certification as Welding Technician is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications.

• Lay out, position, align, and fit metal components to weld per customer specifications
• Read customer blueprints and work instructions
• Finish grinding and spot grinding of parts
• Perform maintenance on welding and grinding machines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
Previous welding experience/training, Certified Welding Technician is a plus!
• Good working knowledge of metals, lasers, and welding & grinding equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Willing to work overtime as necessary
