Morton Industries LLC is seeking a skilled welder/assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will read prints, determine appropriate welding methods, and assemble subassemblies using MIG/GTAW processes.
You’ll inspect dimensions and ensure conformance to specifications while supporting efficient production schedules. The role requires basic welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with hand and power tools in a fast-paced setting.
Assembles a variety of subassemblies by tack or finish weld using GTAW or GMAW processes. Uses hand and power tools. Interprets prints to select assembly method and erection procedures. Uses standard inspection procedures to ensure conformity to print specifications. Communicates with other departments to ensure proper shipment and recordkeeping is accomplished.
