Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Pay rate: $23/hr - $25/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using FCAW and other welding methods to assemble metal components.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques.
• Utilize plasma cutting equipment for shaping metal parts as needed.
• Ensure all welds meet industry codes and standards for quality and safety.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Use tools such as micrometers and other measuring devices to verify dimensions of welded parts.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in welding, particularly with FCAW techniques.
• Proficient in plasma cutting and working with sheet metal.
• Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to welding.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
