Job Position: Welding

Location: Slinger, WI 53086

Pay Rate: $27.00/hr BOE

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Description:

Our family-owned and operated company is immediately hiring for a second shift welder experienced with GMAW, Flux, and Sub Arc welding in Waukesha, WI. You’ll be working Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Welder Duties and Responsibilities

1. Move material using a forklift and overhead crane
2. Verify the correct quantity and quality of parts welded
3. Select and install proper welding wire and gas mixture
4. Operate a fuel gas hand torch for heat straightening purposes
5. Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by supervision
6. Set-up and fine tune welding machine for proper wire speed and machine voltage
7. Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions

Welder Qualifications and Requirements

1. Experience with Flux-core 3/32 or Solid-wire 0.45 or 0.52
2. 3-5 years of experience, preferred
3. Read and comprehend welding symbols
4. Read and comprehend welding blueprints
5. High School diploma or equivalent
6. Heavy Manufacturing in a Job Shop
7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required
