Job summary

Trillium Staffing in Shelbyville, KY is seeking experienced MIG welders and fabricators for a 4+ month project with potential temp-to-hire. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with overtime on weekends as needed; pay: $25-$27/hr DOE. Start ASAP; project involves fabrication shop work on large-scale equipment and trailers.

Welders must perform in 2G/3G positions, pass pre-employment screenings, and provide PPE. MIG and Stick experience is preferred, with 2G/3G plate testing anticipated.

MIG Welders / Fabricators needed in Shelbyville, KY!

Schedule

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM / OT Weekends required as needed

Scope of Work

Scope of Work:
Fabrication shop work:repairing large-scale industrial rigging and transportation equipment, including heavy-duty trailers, frames, structural components, and equipment used by field rigging crews.

MIG and Stick welding

• Fabrication of large industrial equipment and structural components
• Welding heavy-duty trailers, frames, supports, and related equipment
• Working with larger steel components and custom fabrication projects
• Welding in 2G/3Gpositions

Qualifications

• Experienced MIG welder/fabricator
• Stick welding experience preferred
• Heavy fabrication, structural steel, trailer, heavy equipment, or industrial welding experience preferred
• Must be comfortable welding in both horizontal (2G) and vertical (3G)positions
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
• Must provide own welding equipment/wear PPE, including welding hood/shield, gloves, and other required personal equipment
• Candidates should be prepared for a 2G/3G plate test(MIG/Stick)
