Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Welder for our facility in Searcy, Arkansas. You will perform welding and fabrication tasks, set up components in jigs, and ensure parts meet production standards. You will work with a team, maintain safety and attendance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers full health insurance on day one, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, holidays, and education assistance. Shift is Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm with occasional Fridays.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a welding test.
• Able to follow blueprints and work procedures.
• 2 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Display a professional demeanor and communicate respectfully.
• Able to follow directions and adapt to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding activities and operate welding equipment safely.
• Meet production requirements and standards.
• Verify welding results through inspections and weld tests.
• Fabricate components by cleaning, cutting, burning and welding pieces.
• Set up components in jigs and fixtures.
• Work with and support other members of the company.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and reliable attendance.
• Demonstrate XPO’s core values and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Perform all welding activities and operate all welding equipment and tooling in a safe manner
• Meet production requirements and standards

Welders are required to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outside on occasion
• Reach (including above your head)
