Job description

Metal Fabricator and MIG Welder

Location: Southfield, Michigan.

First shift Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 6 am to noon.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend blueprints.
• Perform skilled repair of metal surfaces to ensure safe and efficient use of material.
• Maintain shop equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order.
• Apply continuous MIG welding and fabrication skills.
• Work overtime as needed and as required by production.
• Use basic tools.
• Train on hydraulics and air systems; prior knowledge of trailer air systems and hydraulics is a plus.

Hiring Requirements

• Must have basic tools.
• Welding test required.

Compensation and Hours

• Hourly rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour.
• Hours per week: 50–56.
• Signing bonus: $1,000 after six months.
