Job summary

Hydro Blind Solutions in Port Arthur, TX is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our fast-paced shop. You will perform welding and fabrication on carbon steel and other industrial materials, following drawings and specifications.

This full-time, on-site role requires you to read blueprints, interpret measurements, and use MIG, TIG, or Stick welding as needed. You will also cut, grind, prep, and fit material, operate fabricating tools, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Welder/Fabricator with proven experience.
• Oilfield, pipeline, flange, piping, or industrial fabrication experience is a plus.
• Strong fitting and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements.

Responsibilities

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Welder or Welder/Fabricator
• Experience with oilfield, pipeline, flange, piping, or industrial fabrication is a plus
• Strong fitting and fabrication skills
• Ability to use common measuring and fabrication tools
• Ability to produce clean, consistent welds
• Manual machining experience is a plus
• Clean driving record to be a driver for us is a plus
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
