Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG, and other welding processes to fabricate and repair metal products.

• Select welding electrodes and materials to ensure proper weld penetration.
• Weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components.
• Use electric, air, and power tools as needed.
• Scan and track jobs through the Made2Manage (M2M) system.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment as needed.
• Assist with assembly of subassemblies.
• Operate forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, and hoists.
• Provide guidance and work direction to other welders when assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Experience with TIG and MIG welding
• Machine shop experience is a plus
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists preferred
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
