Job description

We are actively seeking qualified candidates to fill multiple Welder positions building stainless steel food processing machinery. Ideal candidates will be dependable, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The role requires minimal supervision and demands a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade
• Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes
• Avoids the overheating of parts, the warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials
• Completes assigned tasks within budget and on time
• Comply with all safety, quality, and work rules and regulations
• Perform other related tasks as needed

Qualifications :

• 3 years' gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) experience
• 3 years' blueprint reading
• Ability to pass background check and drug screenings
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
