Job summary

Lamothermic Corp. is seeking a reliable Welder in New York to perform TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals. You will read blueprints, operate welding equipment, and ensure weld quality while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• TIG weld on steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine specifications.
• Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and structural soundness.
• Clean and prepare workpieces using grinders, wire brushes, or chemical solutions.
• Assist in setup of welding equipment and workstations.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing basic welding tasks, primarily focusing on repairing parts with defects. This position supports production operations and plays a role in supporting production and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Some benefits that employees are eligible for are:
